About Me
Prior to becoming a DesignOps leader, I worked as a product designer from a junior to a staff level. I am intimately familiar with the challenges they face, having gone through them myself. My transition into DesignOps was driven by a simple belief: if I could enable design teams to work as well as they possibly can at scale, designers would do their best work of their careers — and, in turn, there would be an exponential positive impact on the end-user experience.
The quality of a team’s experience is intricately linked to the quality of a user’s experience. — Aletheia Délivré, Config 2023.
This philosophy has served me well - I genuinely love the UX teams I have been privileged to serve over the years, and I’ve seen the impact firsthand that DesignOps can make to both the internal team and end-users.
After managing DesignOps and ResearchOps at Procore Technologies (80+ on UX team), I led Product Design at Bennie Health (Startup), then DesignOps at theScore (50+ on UX team). Currently I’m part of the small but mighty DesignOps team at Figma.
I’ve gotten the opportunity to establish and grow wonderful DesignOps and ResearchOps teams, and the honor of managing some wonderful humans along the way. My management philosophy is focused on prioritizing the continued growth and well-being of those I get to serve, as we execute against our team and individual goals.
I’m an active member and moderator of the DesignOps Assembly community, as well as a mentor on ADPList. I’m always happy to chat DesignOps, so please reach out!
